Soyez avisés que pour devenir candidat aux élections municipales et scolaires de 2022 de la Cité de Clarence-Rockland, vous devez déposer votre candidature auprès de la greffière. La première journée pour déposer votre candidature est le lundi 2 mai 2022. La période de nomination se termine le vendredi 19 août 2022, à 14h. Veuillez prendre rendez-vous en communiquant avec la greffière par courriel elections2022@clarence-rockland.com ou par téléphone au 613-446-6022, poste 2300. Afin de poser sa candidature, il faut remplir et déposer un formulaire de candidature au bureau de la greffière, accompagné des frais de 200 $ pour le poste de maire, et de 100 $ pour tous les autres postes. Les candidats seront tenus de présenter une pièce d’identité. Seuls les formulaires originaux signés seront acceptés en personne (aucune télécopie ou photocopie). Les documents de candidature doivent être accompagnés de 25 signatures d’appui de la part d’électeurs admissibles. L’exigence de présenter 25 signatures ne s’applique pas aux candidats à un poste de conseiller scolaire. Please take notice that to become a candidate in the City of Clarence-Rockland 2022 Municipal and School Board Election, you must file your nomination with the Clerk. The first day that you may file a nomination is Monday, May 2, 2022. The nomination period ends on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 2 p.m. Please schedule an appointment by contacting the Clerk by email elections2022@clarence-rockland.com or by telephone at 613-446-6022, ext. 2300. A nomination is made by completing and filing in the office of the Clerk a prescribed nomination form and accompanied by a filing fee of $200.00 for the Head of Council and $100.00 for all other offices. Candidates will be required to provide proof of identity. Only forms with original signatures will be accepted in person (no faxes, no photocopies). Nominations papers are to be accompanied by 25 endorsement signatures from eligible electors. The requirement to submit 25 signatures does not apply to candidates running for school board trustee positions.
