CAREERS & OPPORTUNITIES This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in early years education, childcare or assisting teaching. You can progress into roles such as: Ï Early Years Practitioner Ï Teaching Assistant Ï Learning Mentor Ï Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant You could also progress to university level programmes to pursue a career in teaching. Other university level courses could include Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), youth work, children, school and families or sociology.

FLORENCE Florence is currently studying the
T Level in Education and Childcare and plans to use the UCAS points to progress to university and pursue her dream of becoming a primary school teacher. Florence has been completing her industry placement at a local primary school working alongside the Key Stage 1 teaching team, gaining valuable skills and experience for her future studies and career. “During my industry placement I have been teaching phonics, supporting children with special educational needs, taking part in outdoor learning and school trips. I also coach the schools netball team. I am really enjoying the experience and I'm getting a lot out of it.”
