The original culvert was installed in 1986, and a condition assessment done in 2016 recommended it be replaced within one to five years due to safety deficiencies.
The culvert on Indian Creek Road has been replaced, and the route is once again open to traffic. After months of construction, the repla- cement of the Indian Creek culvert is finally finished, and the inauguration of the twin culvert took place on November 16. The work was officially completed around November 7, bringing a close to the $2,000,000 project and reopening Indian Creek Road to traffic. The ceremony was attended by mayor of the Nation Francis Brière, former mayor François St-Amour, and councillor Alain Mainville, among others. «I am very impressed with the quality of the work done by all parties involved and the
