Sommaire : Le mécanicien/préposé à l’entretien des bâtiments est responsable principalement de l’entretien et des réparations, autant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur, des immeubles à appartements et des semi-détachés situés à Hawkesbury. Il devra s’assurer que les bâtiments qui lui sont assignés sont en bon état, salubres, sécuritaires et prêts pour occupation. Exigences : Diplôme d’études secondaires; Diplôme ou certificat post secondaire (durée d’une année scolaire) dans un domaine connexe tel que mécanicien d’entretien de bâtiment, technique de construction, mécanicien monteur industriel, plomberie, chauffage ventilation et air climatisé (CVAC) ou expérience équivalente Avoir une connaissance et compréhension de SIMDUT; Être en mesure d’identifier les produits utilisés et maintenir les fiches signalétiques sur place Pouvoir communiquer facilement en français et en anglais (oralement et par écrit) Capable d’interpréter des instructions, lois, codes, règlement, plans de construction.
Summary: The Building Mechanic/Custodian is primarily responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the indoor and outdoor apartment buildings and semi-detached located in Hawkesbury. He will ensure that the buildings assigned are in good condition, healthy, safe and ready for occupation.
Requirements: High school diploma
Diploma or post-secondary certificate (one school year) in a related field such as building maintenance, construction, millwright, plumbing, ventilation heating and air conditioning (HVAC) or equivalent experience Have knowledge and understanding of WHMIS Be able to identify the products used and maintain material safety data sheets on site Ability to communicate easily in French and English (oral and written) Ability to interpret instructions, laws, codes, regulations and construction plans.
Hourly rate : $22.06 to $22.85 Work Schedule : 40 hours / week
