THE KI NG ’ S BUSINESS the blessed hope of the church, the great purifying motive of believers, the culmination of the present age and the glorious dawning of a better age. The teaching is not antagonistic to democracy and if among its exponents there has been evidence of organized disloyalty, let Professor Case come forth with the proof. (He has to go out o f his way and bring in the Rus- sellites in order to do this.) No pre- millennarian declares “ with relish” that we are in the apostasy— on the other hand, no one is so active in the effort to bring the church hack to the Bible and the fundamentals of the faith as premillennial teachers. Show us, a premillennialist who has “ thrown up the sponge and put up the white flag of surrender.” Who are the great souk winners of the past? Who are the men today most used of God in bringing men to Jesus Christ and in contending for the fundamentals of Christian faith? It would seem that all the hot air is on the side of Pro fessor Case and all the facts are with the premillennialists. We wonder if Professor Case realizes how closely connected with every Bible doctrine of the Christian faith is the hope of the Lord’s coming. Here is the alphabet: Abiding in Christ.— “ And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not he ashamed before Him at His coming.” 1 Jno. 3:28. Boldness. — “ Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me, and of My words, in this adulterous and sinful generation, of Him, shall the Son of Man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father, with the holy angels,” Mark 8:38. Consolation. — “ The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which
