R
ANDALLSTOWN, MD — Morgan Prop- erties hosted a ribbon
cutting on Friday, May 3rd, to celebrate the next chapter of the newly re-named Northwest Crossing Apartments, a gar- den-style apartment commu- nity situated in Randallstown. Dignitaries and stakeholders in attendance at the ceremony included Tony Baysmore, spe- cial assistant to the Baltimore County Executive; Councilman Kenneth N. Oliver; delegate Adrienne Jones; Mark McFad- den, president of the Liberty Road BusinessAssociation; and Chad Rosay, lieutenant of the Baltimore County Woodlawn Police Department. Morgan Properties, which purchased the apartment com- munity last year in partner- ship with private equity real estate firm Core Properties , is currently implementing a $10 million capital improve- ment program to reinvigorate the property through strategic upgrades that will provide residents with an enhanced lifestyle experience. In recognition of the signifi- cant reinvestment being made to transform the community into a source of pride for North- west Baltimore County, officials praised the property’s new ownership for its commitment to strengthening the neigh- borhood’s base of high-quality rental housing. “The decision by Morgan Properties and Core Properties to invest in Northwest Balti- more County will contribute to the ongoing revitalization of this area as a flourishing sub- urban destination community that offers premier housing, work, shopping and entertain- ment opportunities,” said del- egate Adrienne Jones. “North- west Crossing Apartments is a testament to the state of Mary- land and Baltimore County’s ability to attract good corporate neighbors who aim to improve the communities they are a part of, and we are very pleased that Baltimore residents will now have an enhanced housing op- tion that is a positive addition to the neighborhood.” Formerly known as Gar- den View, Northwest Cross- ing Apartments features 588 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes, for which extensive renovations are cur- rently underway to upgrade select residences’ kitchens and bathrooms. n
