ARTIST TALK: GREGOR TURK Thursday, March 28, 5:30 p.m. Known for his public art installations, ceramic sculpture, photography and mixed-media constructions, Gregor Turk often incorporates mapping, cultural signage and place into his artwork. For this presentation, he will discuss his “Welcome” installation of 77 security cameras in the museum’s lobby in the greater context of his three-decade practice. This project is supported in part by Athens Area Arts Council.

Join teaching artist Toni Carlucci in the galleries to look at and talk about art in the exhibition “Kei Ito: Staring at the Face of the Sun,” then come to the studio class- room to make art and new friends. Radcliffe Bailey was an Atlanta-based con - temporary artist known for mixed-media works that explore African American history. This Black History Month, we’re remembering his legacy.
