Inspired by the engineering, choreography and interactions in New York City subway culture, Anne Finkelstein’s 2017 exhibition replaced the vintage ads in a 1961 subway car with images of her own. PLATFORM: Creative Musings on Mass Transit, was a crowdsourced exhibition providing a platform for “commuters who happen to be artists and artists who happen to be commuters,” according to the New York Times. DUGGAL’S ROLE Duggal produced and installed more than 50 large pieces for the exhibit, which ran through May 2017.
