Applied both internally and externally on the lens surface, the HOD treatment increases superƼcial tension avoiding water and oil adherence.

Did you know that

Water behaves diƷerently according to the contact surface. When it enters into contact with fabrics it is absorbed, but it tends to stay on the windscreen and it needs wipers to remove it. In order to avoid both eƷects, we added an hydrophobic layer to the lens, a protective Ƽlm that allows water to slide on the lens avoiding accumulation.

Hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment

Sharp vision without halos

In case of sudden splashes or drops, the user could be exposed to risks due to poor visibility.

This technology improves the sliding of liquids on the lens surface and prevents the adherence of dirt granting a sharp vision and easing the cleaning process.

Ƽltered light* 16 %

Splashes of water or oil could cause a sudden reduction of the visual Ƽeld caused by the presence of liquids on the lens, that cause halos and poor visibility. The HOD hydrophobic treatment, by making the lens smooth and totally waterproof, prevents the accumulation of liquids on the surface granting a clear vision.
