Voice building, problems of solo and group singing, and a survey of solo and small ensemble vocal literature. Designed only for music education and applied music majors with instrumental emphasis. Those students with a vocal empha­ sis should not enroll in this class. Elementary instruction in clarinet, flute, oboe, basson, and saxophone. Correct tone production, technique, and care of instruments. Elementary instruction in trumpet, alto horn, French horn, trombone, baritone horn, and tuba. Correct tone production, technique, and care of instruments.
