CONTINUING STUDENTS: PROCEDURE FOR RESERVING CAMPUS HOUSING Continuing st udents desiring to reserve on-campus housi ng for the fall must sign up for the room of their choice acco rd ing to the reservation schedule in the spr ing . HOUSING FOR MARRIED STUDENTS Although Biola Co ll ege does not have on-campus housing fac ilities for married students , there are a number of apartment compl exes within easy driving distance. The Dean of St udent Affairs Office maintains a file on ava il ab le housing . DISCIPLINE Biol a Co ll ege is dedicated to the training of young people who are sincere and earnest in their desire to live for Jesus Christ. Because this is true, students are expected to give evidence of conduct consis tent wi th such a profession. The disciplined life is consistent with the biblical model for a Christian. At the time of adm iss ion , each student enters into an agreement with the College to be responsible for certa in details of activity and co nduct. Students whose attitudes prove to be uncooperative are asked to withdraw from schoo l. STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES Biola College offers a Hea lth Service for all reg istered students. Thi s se rvice is under the direction of an on- campus physician wit h a scheduled sick call every morning and every afternoon, Monday through Friday. A med ical co nsent form must be signed by parent or guard ian for all unmarried students under e ighteen years of age. This consent does not take away a student 's privilege o f choosing hi s own medical care. Students carrying 7 units or more are required to have physical exam inati ons prior to comi ng to Biol a Co llege . These records must be compl ete and on fil e wi th the co ll ege physician. Biol a offers protection to the student aga inst certain expenses caused by accident, injury, or emergency illness in the form of a required plan of medical insurance. The cost o f this insurance is $26.00 per semester and is subj ect to change from time to time by the company . Biola does not assume any responsibility for ser ious illness or accident on or off campus, in or ou t of co ll ege games or activities. The use of school facilities is at the student 's own personal risk . CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT: The Co ll ege offers a free placement service to Biola grad uates and career planning services to current students. This program is part of the services ava il ab le through the Counseling Center . Inquiries should be made to the Director, Career Guidance and Placement , Biola College .
