3. Summarise articles or other information You can increase your efficiency by having ChatGPT review articles for you and summarise them for quick reference. If you provide ChatGPT with a link to an article, it can tell you whether or not it can access it. If not, it may prompt you to copy and paste the text directly into the ChatGPT interface so it can complete the task. Use a prompt like this: Can you please review the article from the link below and provide me with 3 – 5 key takeaways and a bulleted list of any statistics that were included? 4. Set timelines for projects or tasks Consider using ChatGPT to help you create or manage a schedule or to organise daily tasks. An effective prompt should include which events you want to include in your schedule and their durations, your working hours and other considerations, such as breaks. Below is an example prompt to help schedule interviews: I have seven interviews to schedule this week. I’ve copied my existing schedule below. Each interview takes 30 minutes, and I’d like 15 minutes after every interview blocked off so I can finalise notes. All interviews should be scheduled between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and they shouldn’t overlap with anything else on my schedule. Here is the list of all seven interviews. Can you please find times for each? 5. Create role-playing scenarios for training You can integrate AI into talent acquisition and onboarding in several ways. One is by creating diverse role- playing scenarios to use in customer satisfaction, sales and other training. You can start with this prompt: I would like to create some role-playing scenarios to use in training. To do this, I would like you to act as if you’re the customer, and I’ll act as the employee. I want you to come up with a unique problem or reason why you, the customer, are upset with our product. (Insert product and information about it.) Then, during our conversation, I’ll try to solve your issue. 6. Help with product development and brainstorming ChatGPT can be a good brainstorming tool. It can access large amounts of information, which means it might come up with something your team hasn’t yet. If you need some help brainstorming product development ideas or solutions, try using a prompt such as the one below: We’re trying to think of new features we can offer with our product. (Copy in any product information you have, such as product descriptions and marketing materials.) Can you list features customers may want related to this product type? 7. Financial planning and brainstorming ChatGPT can help with business accounting and financial planning. You can mention challenges with business finance and use AI as a sounding board whilst you work through your thoughts. You can also ask it to provide ideas and information. For instance, you might use this ChatGPT prompt for business if you’re trying to fund your start-up: Please provide a list of five to seven resources for financing my start-up business. Here’s my business idea and any other relevant information. (Copy in information such as location, type of business and other facts that can help narrow down appropriate resources).
