Fitness Fitness Center hours are 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, 7 days a week.

Women’s steam room and men’s sauna are operational from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Outdoor Boot Camp The Fitness Center is pleased to announce our latest addition: an outdoor training area featuring a horizontal ladder, pull-up and dip bars, and more! Adults and Junior A members who have completed a Fitness Center orientation may use the equipment independently, or choose from the following options. SMALL GROUP BOOT CAMP: Are you ready to challenge yourself and work hard in a team environment? Our NEW outdoor small group boot camp is designed for maximum calorie burn in the shortest amount of time. Get fit, healthy and challenge your mind and body! Most importantly: Have FUN combining strength, cardio, muscle endurance, balance, flexibility, and functional movement patterns in our brand new outdoor station circuit. This class is a 45-minute, time efficient, never-the-same, FUN workout utilizing uneven bars, horizontal ladder, tug of war ropes and much more! Arnie Reilly will instruct. Small group boot camp will be offered on Mondays at 6:30 PM beginning June 6, with the possibility of additional times being added as needed. The rate will be $25 per session, or $250 for a 12-session package. (These sessions can be used interchangeably with Arnie’s “Fitness 101” small group training in the Fitness Center.) MORNING BOOT CAMP GROUP EXERCISE CLASS: Join Matthew Wingler, CSCS, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00 AM for an hour-long class that will get your day started right! We’re pleased to welcome LaRue Cook, CSCS, as a specialty trainer at ANCC! LaRue will be with us through the summer and early fall offering clinics and one-on-one training. LaRue is a Tennis Performance Specialist, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Sports Performance Trainer. He has over 23 years’ experience working with athletes and general fitness clients of all levels. LaRue is a tournament tennis player ranked in the Top-10 Men’s 4.0 by the United States Tennis Association for over 10 years in the Mid-Atlantic Section and in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Congratulations to personal trainer Matthew Wingler , who recently earned his certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. The CSCS is equipped to work with athletes (e.g., professional and collegiate) of all sports and all levels, and can design a program to meet the training needs for that sport. Tennis Conditioning Seminar Come learn the basics of conditioning for tennis, why it is im- portant, and where to begin. LaRue Cook, CSCS, will offer this hands-on overview on June 11 at 1 PM in the Group Exercise Studio on the Main Level of the Clubhouse. The seminar will stress key attributes needed to play the game, including agil- ity, quickness, strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility.
