En se promenant à Rockland, les gens ont certainement vu les bancs de parc verts de même que la fontaine devant l’hôtel de ville de Rockland. Il s’agit de quelques- uns des projets réalisés grâce au Tournoi communautaire (de hockey) de Rockland. Celui-ci se tiendra du 31 mars au 4 avril, à l’aréna CIH. Cette année marquera la 19e édition de ce tournoi amical destiné d’abord et avant tout à rassembler les gens de la communauté de Clarence-Rockland. «Cette année, on aimerait voir de nouveaux visages. On veut intégrer les nouveaux arrivants à Clarence- Rockland. On veut les encourager à venir rencontrer leurs voisins», a affirmé un des organisateurs, Serge Lavictoire, qui participe à l’organisation avec Luc Lavictoire. Comme par les années passées, le tour- noi comportera quatre catégories: homme 19 ans et plus, 35 ans et plus, 50 ans et plus et une catégorie pour femmes. Les joueurs s’inscriront individuellement et les organi- sateurs s’occuperont de former les équipes. Les gens qui désirent s’inscrire doivent faire vite puisque les places sont limitées. Du 2 au 31mars, la Galerie d’art Eugène- Racette d’Orléans accueille l’artiste internationaleThérèse Boisclair. Au cours de sa carrière, l’artiste a touché à plusieurs médiums. On a pu voir ses œuvres exposées au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe. Dans son exposition intitulée Émergence, l’artiste originaire de Trois-Rivières dévoile les atmosphères uniques et les pays abstraits qui animent son imaginaire.
