Internet voting enables you to vote from anywhere in the world. Telephone voting enables you to vote from anywhere in Canada or the United States. Please note : With this alternative voting method, there will be no traditional paper ballot voting. In ad- dition, no proxies are permitted. Any individual may request assistance during the voting period by attending a Voting Help Centre dur- ing hours of operation.

If found guilty, an individual may be liable to a term of imprisonment up to 10 years. In addition, improper voting, corrupt practices or voting irregularities are provincial offences under the Municipal Elections Act, S.O. 1996 and all complaints or knowledge of voting infractions will also be investigated by the O.P.P. and prosecuted. The minimum penalty is a $5,000 fine or up to 6 months of imprisonment, or both.
