Mr. Gérard (Gerry) Lemieux, from Grenville-sur- la-Rouge, Qc, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of the late June J. Hodge Lemieux; the son of the late Orphyr Lemieux and of the late Rose-Alma Dignard; the beloved father of David (Hélène Racine), Joanne (Réjean Dion) and Nancy (Joseph Arthurs); the adored grandfather of Marc-André, Alexandre, Shalina, Jean-Pierre and Nicolas; the dear brother of Fernande Bergevin, Marguerite Lefebvre and Jean-Marie. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sisters-in-law and many nephews, nieces and friends. The family wishes to thank the Hawkesbury General Hospital I.C.U, Palliative Care Unit and St.-Mary’s Hospital I.C.U. for the great care given to Mr. Lemieux. The funeral details were entrusted to Berthiaume Funeral Home Ltd, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, ON, 877 632-8511. A celebration of life will be held at the Hawkesbury Golf & Curling Club on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. The family will be present from 10:30 a.m. to receive condolences.
