Qualifications
• Relevant technical qualification. • Membership of relevant professional organisation e.g. MCIOB, MRICS • A H&S qualification e.g. NEBOSH (Desirable)
Experience
• Knowledge and experience of preventative maintenance programmes, refurbishment projects and managing budgets, preferably in a conservation setting; • Knowledge and experience of managing contracts or works programmes, preferably in a conservation setting; • Experience of Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system(s) • Knowledge and experience of managing processes for reactive maintenance; • Experience of leading and managing staff; • Knowledge of Health and Safety and an understanding of risk within an estates environment; • Experience of assessing and prioritising work and presenting information in report form to management; • Budget management; • Experience of current conservation practice and repair methods; (Desirable ) • Knowledge of secular / Ecclesiastical planning process e.g. Listed Building Scheduled Planning consent, CFCE, SPAB, Heritage England, Cathedral FAC; (Desirable) • Drawing skills (Desirable)
