Being a part of the 33 rd administration is a responsibility that should not and will not be taken lightly.” Junior Grand Vice Polemarch Cross also finds that sup- porting the Six Point Plan as sound. “The initiatives the Grand Polemarch pushes for in the plan are common sense initiatives. Improving community service, reorganizing IHQ, increasing undergraduate participation in the fraternity, reclaiming brothers, executing MTA, and executive leader- ship training are all things that truly make Kappa better,” he continued. What They’re Saying in the 33 rd Administration T he Undergraduate Grand Chapter Officers recently got together with the Journal for a conversation… the first of many. Reflecting on Grand Polemarch Battles In reflecting on supporting Grand Polemarch Battles and the Junior Grand Vice Polemarch’s ability to support him as an undergraduate officer, Christopher Cross reflects that he first met the Grand Polemarch in June 2016 at the Undergraduate Leadership Institute where the Grand Polemarch spoke at length about his undergraduate days. “Since then,” says Cross, “I have always admired his person- able character. He is often described by others as a ‘brother’s brother’ and I cannot think of a more fitting term. His great character makes him easy to work with alongside the other Grand Chapter officers.” Grand Board Member Ivan Garcia believes that Grand Polemarch Battles “keeps those around him working hard.” Grand Board Member Earls added, “The Grand Polemarch’s charisma is a true asset. Since we have been introduced and ushered into this administration, he has taken us under his wing, and showed us the true depth and potential of this fraternity,” stated Earls. “In the time I have known Brother Grand Polemarch Battles I can say with great sincerity that God has placed him in this role to lead not by chance but by design.
