KAPPA NEWS: GUY L. GRANT AWARDEE—ROBERT T. SENIORS III

R obert T. Seniors III is a spring 2014 initiate of the Alpha Xi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi ® on the cam- pus of the Florida A&M University. Brother Seniors has exhibited an unswerving, altruistic commit- ment to the advancement of our noble clan. Soon after his initiation he became Polemarch of his chapter and began working closely with Tallahassee (FL) Alumni Chapter in the restoration of the Fraternity house in that city. Through his leadership, the Alpha Xi Chapter has donated $2,500 towards the restoration. That effort will not only impact the life of our fraternity in that area but also positively impact the surrounding community for years to come. Brother Seniors was a member of the 2014 Zeta Class of the Undergraduate Leadership Institute and was selected to ap- pear on the cover of the Journal of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . He has served as a mentor and tutor to disadvantaged students for the 21 st Century Program at his high school and through his fraternal leadership he spearheaded the donation of 12,000 bottles of water to Flint, Michigan. All this, while maintain- ing the third highest GPA in the Southern Province during that time – 3.91 GPA. To give perspective, the Southern

Province is comprised of Alabama, Florida, Bahamas, U.S. Virgin Islands and the Republic Panama.

Brother Seniors is a member of the first cohort of the Florida A&M University Medical Scholars Programs (MSP). He is the only male in his pre-medical cohort. Since his induction he has distinguished himself as a young man of high integ- rity and great potential. His professors, on-campus advisors and Kappa mentors have been thoroughly impressed by with his work ethic and commitment to excellence in his works. It is evident that Brother Seniors’ young life epitomizes Achievement and that he sees obstacles as opportunities to achieve in spite of not because of. We are thankful to Robert Jr. and Trenice Seniors, Robert’s parents, for God’s most precious gift to you has been a blessing to the Noble Clan of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . Let it be known that our Brother exhibits the five objec- tives of Kappa Alpha Psi and that his diamond embodies the characteristics of Founder Grant. He is a student of Achieve- ment, a Leader among men, and a Vanguard of excellence.
