THOMSON, Lois 1950 - 2022
On March 11 th , 2022, at the age of 71, Lois Florence Thomson was taken home to be with her Lord, this after a long struggle with cancer. To join her some future day is her beloved husband of 50 years Robert (Bob) and their six children: Michael (Kara), Shannon (Mark), Annette (Bobby), Julie (Cody), Beth (Chad) and Heather (Ringo). She also leaves 23 dear grandchildren, who will greatly miss her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Dalesville Baptist Church at 2:00 pm, onWednesday, March 23 rd . The service will be preceded by a time of visitation, beginning at 12:00 o’clock. There will also be a time of visitation available at the Mozart Desforges Funeral Complex, on Tuesday March 22 nd , from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to ShareWord Global (Gideons) or Camp des Iles, would be appreciated. Au CISSS des Laurentides, à Saint-Jérôme, le 16 janvier 2022, est décédée à l’âge de 78 ans, Madame Jocelyne Villeneuve, épouse de feu Yvon Bilodeau. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses trois enfants Carl (Mélanie Castonguay), Patricia (Gilles Lafleur) et Chantal (Michel Larocque), ses six petits-enfants Maxime (Sabrina), Jade (Ryan), Gabriel (Anaïs), Noémie (Guillaume), Audrey-Anne (Mathieu) et Alexandre (Josianne), ses quatorze arrière-petits-enfants Mila, Romane, Éli , Évana , Alyce, Annaëlle, Adélie, Margot, Théo, Julia-Rose, Flora, Flavie, Agathe et Willow, ses deux sœurs Louise et Manon, son frère Michel (Johanne Séguin), ses neveux et nièces ainsi qu’autres parents et plusieurs ami(e)s. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 26 mars 2022, à 14 h, en l’église Sainte-Anastasie, 174, rue Béthany, Lachute (Qc) J8H 2M1. She is predeceased by her brother Clarance Smith (Lois McRae). She will be dearly missed by her children Judy McFaul (Steven) of Russell ON, Nancy Boyd (Glenn) of Lachute QC and Scott of Parksville BC. Adored Grandma to Abbey, Brent (Christine Ross), Jamie (Julie Malette), Kelsey and loving Nana to Coralie and Jayde. Edith will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Especially missed by her lifelong friends Margaret Brass-Smith and Lois Clark-Nauf. Many thanks to the hospital staff at Lachute hospital, for their never ending support and precious care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lachute Protestant Cemetery would be appreciated. A family burial will take place at a later date.
