KEELE CONFERENCE AND EVENTS TEAM STRUCTURE

W ith a fantastic location in the heart of venue for the broad spectrum of University led events as well as events and conference activities to the external market. Keele University Events and Conferencing has a large range of impressive spaces to accommodate everything from small team meetings to 600-delegate events, including the magnificent grade two listed Keele Hall. We have three different venues to choose from which will cater for any large or small meeting, conference or exhibition. The University boasts a number of meeting spaces and generous accommodation alongside extensive facilities across the self- contained campus, meaning everything is close at hand for visiting delegates. The sporting facilities and rolling grounds provide a number of opportunities for delegates’ leisure pursuits, allowing event organisers to cater for a variety of interests. Keele Hall – Keele Hall’s ballroom is the largest conference and banqueting space in Staffordshire, providing 500m 2 of flexible space and can host up to 400 dinner guests making it suitable for any large event such as product launches, exhibitions, dinners and awards evenings. This is a magnificent venue, with many unique meeting and dining rooms right in the heart of the University campus. Keele Management Centre – Keele Management Centre is located on the edge of the campus, in the village of Keele itself, and offers year round accommodation with 39 bedrooms and 4 meeting rooms, making it an ideal venue for training courses and teambuilding events, or for additional facilities for large events taking place on the campus. Campus – Our campus has 5 tiered lecture theatres, exhibition space and can accommodate all types of meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events making it a great location. The option for residential conferences during the Easter and summer vacation periods means the campus lends itself to large two day events or even summer schools. The extensive sports facilities provide fantastic opportunities for sporting associations or for delegates’ down time after their events. All of our venues are suitable for day meetings and residential conferences, with accommodation at either Keele Management Centre or University Campus halls of residence. The extensive conferencing and leisure facilities onsite provide a vast selection of options for event organisers and our events team will tailor their service to meet organisers’ requirements, making each event truly unique. In addition, the events team can offer a complete conference management service, allowing event organisers to hand over the reins and take part in the event themselves.
