Three men and a trip

Dr. J. Henry Hutchins Lake Avenue Congregational, Pasadena

T he three men pictured here were talking in glowing terms this month about a trip they’re planning. The men: pastors of three of Southern California’s best-known evangelical churches. The trip: a leisurely Bible conference cruise to Hawaii. (See inside front cover.) The cruise is no three-man affair, however. The three are acting as hosts and Christians from across the country have been invited to join the cruise that leaves next January for the tropical isle. It’s the first such cruise ever conducted to Hawaii and several hundred are expected to go along to combine ,a leisurely two-week vacation with a rich time of fellowship and Bible study. The Hawaiian tour leaves from Los Angeles via United Air lines on Jan. 12. After 10 days in Hawaii (headquartered at the famous Moana Hotel on Waikiki Beach) the group will sail home on the luxurious Lurline. While deadline for space reservation is only a few days away, tour conductor Dr. James Martin indicated all orders would be processed that are received immediately.
