KIN CLUB OF RUSSELL HONOURS MEMBERS
1000 $ REMIS AU REGROUPEMENT AUTISME
During its regular meeting, held on Monday, March 26, the Kin Club of Russell recognized its honorary members of the ear for their assistance and work with the Kin Club. In total, 18 citizens were recognized for their outstanding support. They include Greg Fedor, John Nicholls, Eric Chartrand, Dave Tidbury, Melina Hayward, Jeff Goulding, Kumar Patel, Richard Menard, Lucette Brisson, Marie-Claire Ivanski, Mark Kelly, Celine Guitard, Daniel Nadon, Line and Daniel Blanchard, and Diane and Garry Hayes. The Kin Club also started its strategic planning session to determine what next major project they would immediately undertake for the community. After nine presentations, the club narrowed its choices to five possible projects that include: Welcome to Russell Sign, Castor Bridge/Fountain Project, Quarry Conservation Project, Community Garden, and Community Van. The Kin Club of Russell will make its final decision for its upcoming project at its next meeting on Monday, April 23. —submitted photo
Les Chevaliers de Colomb d’Embrun ont remis un montant de 1000 $ au Regroupement Autisme Prescott-Russell, lors de la cérémonie soulignant la Journée mondiale de sensibilisation à l’autisme tenue à l’hôtel de ville de Russell, le 29 mars dernier. « Vu qu’on fait des collectes de fonds avec le grand tirage, on peut se permettre d’aider les autistes, et tant qu’on va pouvoir continuer à les aider, on va continuer à le faire », a déclaré Jean-Yves Dionne des Chevaliers de Colomb, en remettant le don.
