FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMS
In collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank and Orange County Food Bank, fresh and non-perishable food is provided at the Placentia Neighborhood Services office. Food distributions are held the 1 and 3 Tuesday of the month and non-perishable items are available daily on an emergency basis. st rd The City of Placentia, in collaboration with ICNA Relief, organizes a diaper distribution event on the 4 Thursday of each month. This initiative aims to provide families with young children access to essential diaper supplies. For more information on how to register, please contact the Neighborhood Services Office. th DIAPER DISTRIBUTION The City of Placentia, in partnership with St. Jude, provides convenient access to quality healthcare services for the community at two locations in Placentia. The St. Jude Mobile Family Health Center offers: Free immunizations Primary care for children and adults Prenatal care Appointments are recommended. THANKSGIVING FOOD DISTRIBUTION EVENT
Neighborhood distributing Thanksgiving Food Baskets on Tuesday, November 24 . The distribution will be at the Whitten Community Center. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. until supplies last. For more information, please contact our Neighborhood Services office. th Services will be COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS BASKET PRE-REGISTRATION The Community Christmas Basket event in Placentia provides low-income families with the chance to select two wrapped toys for their children during the holiday season. Neighborhood Services is inviting families to pre-register for the annual Community Christmas Basket event. Registration will begin the month of October to until November. To sign up, remember to bring a photo ID and a birth certificate for each child in the family. Limited spots are available, so pre-registration is required. Priority will be given to Placentia residents and PLYUSD students. Registration takes place at the Whitten Center.
