‭Welcome to Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day at Loudoun‬ ‭Country Day School!‬ ‭We’re so glad you’re here. Today is all about celebrating the meaningful connections between‬ ‭generations. Your presence brings joy to our students and strengthens the sense of community we value‬ ‭so deeply at LCDS. Grandparents Day’s Art Showcase‬ ‭Today, we’re proud to showcase our students’‬ ‭creativity through their finest visual art pieces‬ ‭of the year. They’ve worked hard and are so‬ ‭proud to share their artwork with you.‬ ‭As you explore, you’ll see a vibrant mix of‬ ‭watercolors, ceramics, drawings, weaving, and‬ ‭more—each piece reflecting our students’‬ ‭imagination, skill, and joy.‬ ‭Student art is displayed throughout the school hallways.‬‭You’ll have the chance to walk through and‬ ‭enjoy the exhibits immediately after each concert and before visiting the classrooms.‬

‭Families are invited to visit the Art Galleries and then proceed to the classroom to see student work and‬ ‭meet the teachers before heading home. Please note: this is not a regular school day – students will‬ ‭leave with their families after the visit.‬ ‭Early Years and Lower School Families (Grades PK-5)‬ ‭Grandparents and special guests of our early years and lower school students will be able to visit the Art‬ ‭Galleries first, and then proceed to the classrooms‬ ‭immediately after‬ ‭the student concerts.‬ ‭Middle School Families (Grades 6, 7, and 8)‬ ‭Grandparents and special guests of middle school students are invited to visit the Art Galleries first,‬ ‭followed by visits to middle school classrooms from‬ ‭9:55 to 10:30 AM‬
