A New Adventure for Jessica Taking On the World of Dental Insurance, and Acing It
running smoothly.The two have a great camaraderie, and Jessica points out that the strong team spirit is what makes working at Elkins Dental so great. “The people are fabulous to work with. Everyone is very compassionate, motivated, and pleasant to be around,” she says. Discovering information that will help others is something that Jessica enjoys. She enjoys her role in making the insurance process easier for our team members and for our patients. “I love seeing people come in and feeling like I made a contribution,” Jessica says. Jessica grew up in Emmett and appreciates the community here. At home, you’ll find her hanging out with her daughter, Aarlea, and cheering her on in her extracurricular activities. Aarlea just wrapped up her soccer season, and now, “It’s on to the next adventure,” Jessica says. Aarlea hasn’t decided what adventure that will be just yet, but she’ll likely try her hand at a new athletic pursuit. “I’m encouraging her to try them all to find which ones she likes most,” Jessica explains.The season will also bring some holiday concerts where Jessica will support Aarlea in the honor choir. Between those activities, the two will find some cozy days to spend time at home.
Since joining our team last spring as our insurance coordinator, Jessica has
taken on a big role with a sense of adventure. Despite the daunting task of deciphering complex insurance guidelines, Jessica jumped in wholeheartedly, studying, reading, and doing everything she could to develop the knowledge needed for her role. With her intrepid spirit, she’s somehow making this complex undertaking look easy. As Robin says, “She’s killing it. She took on a huge task and has been doing a great job.” Jessica’s thorough work ethic and attention to detail are skills that she uses daily as she carefully reads through policies and sees that we comply with insurance guidelines. She communicates this information to our dental team and works closely with Melissa to keep insurance communication
“Now that fall is here, I have baking plans,” Jessica says. We couldn’t be more excited to have Jessica on our team!
