Whether a performer, set designer, back-stage assistant, or a member of the audience, all pupils have the opportunity to experience and be part of the many music and drama productions that take place throughout the year, including School’s Plays and Musicals, House Plays and the House Singing competition.

he promotion of, and participation in, Music is encouraged in every quarter of
Performing Arts are flourishing, with an exciting and ever-growing programme of events in the school’s 500-seat Theatre, Taylor Hall. Pupils are introduced to a variety of styles, media and processes in Art and Design, Photography and Design Technology, with a strong emphasis on experimentation that encourages individuals to produce a wide assortment of work.
School and at every level, with the philosophy that music is for everyone. Many pupils have individual instrumental lessons and there is a wealth of musical activities on offer including choirs, bands and orchestras. Individuals and groups are encouraged to perform in concerts both in and out of school. Drama and the
