Reporting to the Assistant Director of Estates and Facilities, Property and Space Management, the role is responsible for planning, developing and implementing procedures and systems to improve the overall effectiveness and utilisation of University space. The ability to convert complex information into meaningful analytics to influence high-level senior decision-making is essential. The post holder will be the first point of contact for all Faculty and Professional Services space related building projects, and will undertake option appraisal and feasibility studies to ascertain the viability of requests in line with the University Estate Strategy principles of quality, effectiveness and efficiency. The role also involves the maintenance of all space related information through the undertaking of physical audits and surveys on a periodic basis. It is also expected that the post holder will deploy innovative systems and procedures to record and improve the utilisation of space across the University estate.
