Her specialization is in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which delves in the psychology of behavior, motivation, and change management. Her subspecialty is in Leadership Coaching Psychology.

relevant certifications or qualifications. “Our continued partnership with Collin College just makes sense,” said Council Chair Landon Hood with Beazer Homes. “The programs offered by the technical campus translate directly to the job site. Anyone even remotely connected to the homebuilding in- dustry knows we need more builders, plumbers, electricians, HVAC contrac- tors, etc. These students are hungry to get into our industry and help us pro- vide homes to families in DFW. The YP group will continue to support the College with our time and scholarship fund philanthropic effort.”

The Association’s Young Profes- sionals Council recently visited Collin College to engage with its students in the Construction Management Program. Several council members empha- sized the value of hands-on experience in residential construction, either through working on construction sites or through internships with construc- tion companies. Some common themes that emerged from their discussions in- cluded the importance of gaining prac- tical experience through internships or apprenticeships, networking with industry professionals and obtaining
