The 80 townhome listings in Vancouver East in August were down 18% month-over-month and 12% lower year-over-year. The 24 townhome sales in August were unchanged from last month and 5 higher year-over-year. The sales-to-listings ratio for townhomes jumped to 30%, as conditions in Vancouver East’s townhome market continued to favour sellers. The townhome benchmark price in August was $838,100, 1.1% below July and 10% lower year-over-year. August’s average sold price of $957,834 was 7% above last month, while the average PSF sales price was $739 (up 16% vs last month).
