Finalists for the award are featured at SuperCorrExpo and attendees vote for their favorite innovation. The Machinery category, open to AICC Associate (supplier) Members in good standing, focuses on in- novations of equipment, products, or services directly related to the mechanical converting process. Innova- tions should benefit the paperboard packaging indus- try through enhanced efficiency, quality, productivity, and/or safety of converting plants. The “mechanical converting process” covers all op- erations that involve direct contact with corrugated, folding carton, or rigid box substrates (i.e., printing, cutting, creasing, scoring, stitching, gluing, material handling, etc.).
