Underwent a veterinary examination on arrival on course after not racing since March 2021, due to a tendon issue and was passed suitable to race. Caulfield 26/02/2022 Brushed on 2 occasions over concluding stages. Caulfield 12/02/2022 Rdr reported mnt travelled very keenly through the early & middle stages & consequently was left without a finishing effort, however he still considered its performance to be disappointing. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Tnr rep advised whilst gelding would derive benefit from today’s first up run, he agreed with rdr’s opinion that its performance was impacted by its tendency to overrace in the early stages. Tnr rep subsequently reported satisfaction with post-race condition of gelding & reiterated opinion that it raced too keenly & will take a fitness benefit from first-up run. Royal Randwick 12/02/2022

Lost its near fore plate approaching the 200m. Rdr reported he followed a favoured rnr in the event with a view to improve behind it in the straight, however when that rnr did not quicken in the early stages of the straight as anticipated, his mnt became badly held up between the 400m and the 200m before shifting outwards to secure clear running whereby it finished the race off well. Ascot 12/02/2022 Rock Slow to begin. Royal Randwick 12/02/2022 Crosshaven Raced wide and without cover throughout. Rdr said after mount covered additional ground it failed to run on. Post race vet exam revealed no abs. Caulfield 26/01/2022
