FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER
Ivaco Rolling Mill, a very well established company and leader in its industry in Canada, is seeking a qualified Reporting Manager to fill a vacancy in its Accounting Department. SUMMARY The Reporting Manager, a resourceful and disciplined individual, will report to the Assistant Controller and assist in the preparation of the financial statements. The incumbent will be responsible for reporting, analysis, reconciliations and assist with other tasks. The candidate must have a deep knowledge of Financial Accounting and thorough knowledge and understanding of all accounting cycles. The Reporting Manager must provide a high degree of specialized support to management in the areas of accounting and reporting, offer assistance in planning, forecasting and implementing, and also ensure compliance with the financial policies of the organization. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Reporting Manager will be accountable for the following: • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports • Perform variance analysis, KPI review and other analytical tasks • Prepare fixed assets continuity schedule, other various monthly reconciliations and journal entries • Perform ad hoc analysis, including some related to costing • Participate in special projects with the objective of continuous improvement in operational efficiency and reporting, eliminating non-valued activities.

• Participate in the preparation of annual audit / working papers • Carry out periodic reviews of controls, expenditures, and compliance • Participate in and support the budget and forecast preparation • Identify issues and proactively initiate analyses / solutions • Ensure the proper internal controls are in place and maintained • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal reporting requirements • Work on implementation of a variety of projects as needed KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate will have the following education, skills and abilities: • CPA / CMA / CA designation and Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent • Five years of relevant experience • Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and cycles • Bilingualism is a must.
• Possess valid driver’s license and use of vehicle • Time/Schedule flexibility for special projects SALARY: Good commission STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
