Rob is an accomplished, ambitious and grounded professional with extended family roots in the Vancouver area. The previous 15 years of his career he was a progressive Chief Financial Officer in Banking, Public Transportation, Real Estate and Airport industries, leading strategic financial planning and all corporate services functions including strategic real estate development and management. Rob has been on a number of Boards over his career including United Way of Greater Vancouver (2018 - 2021), Alberta Motor Association (2014 - 2018), VanCity Development Corp, Vancouver Economic Development Commission, and a number of not for profit boards related to his children ’ s sports clubs. Rob prides himself on taking a people centric approach in the pursuit of ambitious and often lofty organizational ambitions. He believes that the achievement of these goals is most worthy of celebration when they are accomplished in a way that delivers people success, community betterment and strong financial returns. Rob is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves and working with staff at all levels to help ensure there is true alignment of people, process and vision. Being strategic and intentional is his passion and he is very excited to join and contribute as a member of the Board of directors.
