SPOUSE, GUEST & YOUTH PROGRAMS

Space for day trips is limited. Although advance registration was required, inquire at the MLC Registration/Information Desk about availability. Lunch will be provided on all day trips. Attire for all events is casual, unless otherwise noted. Please inform conference staff at the registration desk if you have special needs or other requirements. Youth Events: An adult must accompany a child under the age of 5. Please have children wear their MLC-provided T-shirts, as indicated under each event. Adults can only attend daytime and evening youth activities if they are accompanying their child and have paid the $150 registration fee. Spouses/Adult Guests: In addition to the special day trips listed below, you are welcome to attend any session on the business program. SUNDAY, JULY 17 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. FOR CHILDREN & TEENS MEET & GREET AT THE HYATT Meet new friends and take part in ice-breaker activities with others participating in the meeting’s Youth Events. Parents: Please drop off your child and check in with a youth coordinator at the Gilpatrick Room, located on the first floor of the Hyatt, at 4:30 p.m. Please pick up your child at 5:30 p.m. Browse this museum’s 150,000 square feet of natural and human history exhibits, featuring more than 4.5 million specimens from Africa to the Arctic. Explore a Costa Rican rainforest, see the world’s largest-known dinosaur skull and step back in time with a stroll through the“Streets of Old Milwaukee.”The event will include a variety of hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The museum is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Volunteers will be in the Hyatt lobby to guide you beginning at 5:45 p.m. Special transportation needs: Please speak with conference staff at the MLC Registration/Information Desk at your earliest convenience if you have special needs or other requirements. MONDAY, JULY 18 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. FOR CHILDREN & TEENS SCHLITZ AUDUBON NATURE CENTER AND DISCOVERY WORLD’S WEST CAMPUS Start the morning by connecting with nature at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, where you’ll learn about migratory birds and the habits of powerful raptors. After lunch you’ll 6 to 8 p.m. FOR ALL AGES OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION AT THE MILWAUKEE PUBLIC MUSEUM
