EQUATES
Elevate Your Quantitative Skills The mission of Everything Quantitative for Teachers and Students (EQUATES) is to enhance the learning experience for students and instructors through a video repository, interactive workshops, peer tutoring sessions and research initiatives. These resources span the Mathematics, Science and Technology curriculum. Housed within the College of Arts & Sciences, EQUATES serves all Embry‑Riddle students and their instructors through four EQUATES quadrants: a video repository, searchable by subject for self-study or instructor recommendations; workshops to support your success in mathematics, science and technology; complimentary, non-credit courses open to all students, providing specialized instruction through Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) formats and content creation assistance.
Trajectory for Student Success The College of Arts & Sciences offers the Virtual Environment for Communication: Teaching, Outreach and Research, or VECTOR, which helps support students and faculty in teaching, learning and research related to all forms of communication using our unique Virtual Communications Lab (VCL). The VCL provides free tutoring, workshops and online resources. Tutors can work with you at any stage of the composition process — from brainstorming a speech topic to helping design effective visuals for your personal website or e-portfolio. The VCL also offers a variety of resources with tips on topics such as grammar, presentation techniques and APA formatting guidelines that you can access anytime, anywhere.
