● Administer CORI/SORI background checks and fingerprinting requirements. ● Track professional licensure and coordinate with DESE when necessary. ● Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and labor regulations. Labor Relations & Employee Relations ● Participate in contract negotiations and labor relations meetings. ● Monitor and respond to grievances and disputes. ● Conduct investigations related to employee misconduct, harassment, or discrimination. ● Provide guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution. ● Support progressive discipline and performance management processes. Benefits Administration ● Administer employee benefits including health, dental, retirement, disability, and insurance programs. ● Coordinate annual benefit open enrollment. ● Monitor compliance with ACA requirements and benefits regulations. ● Maintain benefits data and deductions within HRIS and retirement systems. ● Provide benefits counseling and customer service to employees and retirees. Retention, Engagement & Workplace Culture ● Analyze retention trends and turnover data. ● Develop retention initiatives including mentorship, recognition, and career pathways. ● Maintain HR data systems and ensure accuracy of personnel information. ● Generate HR analytics including turnover, retention, and recruitment metrics. ● Track staffing allocations, attendance, licensure, and leave data. ● Produce HR reports for district leadership and the School Committee (staffing, diversity, reconciliation). ● Monitor turnover savings and staffing cost implications. Administrative & Operational Support ● Coordinate HR meetings, communications, and documentation. ● Manage the HR office mailbox and employee inquiries. ● Conduct exit interviews and engagement feedback analysis. ● Support employee well-being and workplace culture initiatives. Data, Analytics & Reporting
● Organize recruitment events, training sessions, and workshops. ● Provide operational support for HR initiatives and district programs. ● Leading multiple educator and staff trainings, including: ○ Anti-bias training ○ Mandatory Reporting Training ○ Personnel Investigations
