16 FALLEN OAK Seen in the distance when playing the drive from the 16th tee was a magnificent oak tree which many players used as their aiming point. The tree fell victim to Storm Dennis on 16 February 2020, and fell across the fairway. The age of the tree was analysed after its demise, and it had adorned its spot for 175 years. It now provides a wildlife haven in the area between the 16th and 17th holes
