The companies that already control well-developed pipelines and interconnects will be able to take advantage of any future increase in demand. It takes years to build new pipelines and facilities. You have to spend countless days and hours surveying the land, getting the proper permits, digging the trench, building the pipe, and so on. As we said, the competitive advantage will go to those companies that already have large systems in place and spare capacity to meet the demand as the landscape changes.
