Lionel Lustgarten received the Volunteer Appreciation Award from the Glengarry Pioneer Museum at last Friday’s annual meeting in Dunvegan. Describing him as the epitome of a volunteer, Susan Joiner recalled that Lustgarten has helped out in many ways since joining themuseum in 1997.“This is a jewel,”he said of the“aston- ishing organization” which celebrated its 50 th anniversary last year. The Alexan- dria resident will soon be saying goodbye to Glengarry as he is preparing to move to Alberta.
