The acquisition of this 36,000-square-foot building in the same town that we have historically operated in gave us the wonderful opportunity to retain all of our skilled employees. The plant move was executed flawlessly with our laser engraving machines transferred in late May, fol- lowed by the balance of the equipment in early June, and a full startup of plant operations by mid-June. This timeline could not have been met without the countless hours of planning that went into the project. “Our custom-built Batavia facility was designed for more efficient manufacturing of laser engraved rolls, and we are proud to state that a third ALE laser has been or- dered for the plant and will be installed in March 2021. Concurrent with our Batavia move, we made the strategic decision to relocate our traditional mechanical engraving and glue set refurbishment to our Roselle facility, located in New Jersey. This transition not only streamlines our op- erations, but also aids our environmental footprint by re- ducing one complete electroplating line. “On our UK operation front, servicing Europe, the Mid- and our employees.
