After their convincing home win over the Colts, the Nats were looking to keep the momentum going when they visited the Nepean Raiders for an afternoon tilt on Sunday, September. 27. The Nats jumped out to a 1-0 lead. But it was all Nepean after that. Rockland dropped a 6-2 decision to the Raiders. Félix Cadran and Anthony Bertolin scored for Rockland. Up next The Nats will look to get back into the win column when they host the Hawkesbury Hawks on Wednesday, September 30. The team then travels to Carleton Place for an afternoon matchup against the Canadians on Saturday, October 3.
It was a weekend of ups and downs for the Rockland Nationals. First up, the reigning Bogart Cup cham- pions welcomed the Cornwall Colts to the Desjardins Centre on Friday, September 25. Seven different Nationals scored in a 7-1 romp of the visiting team. Benjamin Brunton, Jérôme L’Heureux, Adam Kocian, Aaron Chipp, Robbie Dragusica, Christophe Belleau, and Alexander Allain tallied for the home squad, while Jack Carter was stellar in goal for Rockland, turning away 23 of 24 shots he faced to earn the win.
