Beavers win Valley trophy SPORTS

ST-ISIDORE | The little Eagles of St-Isidore have reason to feel proud. The St-Isidore Eagles Atom C squad took the title in the A division of the Rogers House Atom C Tournament over the March 23 weekend. The team played undefeated with four Rogers House winners straight wins and outscoring their opposi- tion with a combined total of 29 goals for the Eagles and two against. They shut down the Ottawa Centre Dolphins 7-0, froze out the Hull Pingouins 8-0, iced the Ottawa Centre Panthers 7-1, and extinguished the East Ottawa Fireballs 7-1 in the final match.

SUDBURY | The Clarence Creek Beavers Novice B team has a new addition to their trophy collection. The minor hockey squad cleared the ice four games straight to win the Valley East

Renegades Tournament title in Sudbury over the March 23 weekend. The Beavers beat a select team of elite players 6-2 in the finals at the end of the three-day tourna- ment.
