NÉCROLOGIE
In the matter of an application by:
The Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell
for approval to expropriate land being: Part of Lot 9, Concession 7, Part 1 and Part 2 on Plan 50R11893, Township of Russell, County of Russell. For the purposes of the widening of County Road 3 (Notre-Dame Street) for a turning lane and the relocation of utilities, sidewalk and all works ancillary thereto. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that application has been made for approval to expropriate the land described as follows: Fee Simple All rights, title and interest (fee simple) in the lands described as Part of Lot 9, Concession 7, Part 1 and Part 2 on Plan 50R11893, the Township of Russell, County of Russell. Any owner of land in respect of which notice is given who desires a hearing into whether the taking of such land is fair, sound and reasonably necessary in the achievement of the objectives of the expropriating authority shall so notify the approving authority in writing, a. in the case of a registered owner, served personally or by registered mail within thirty days after the registered owner is served with the notice, or, when the registered owner is served by publication, within thirty days after the first publication of the notice; b. in the case of an owner who is not a registered owner, within thirty days after the first publication of the notice. NORMAND RACINE 30 novembre 1957 – 15 septembre 2026 C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Normand Racine, fils de feu Alexis Racine et feu Pauline Racine (Charette), qui nous a quittés le 15 septembre 2026, à l’âge de 68 ans. Père exceptionnel, grand-père attentionné, mari dévoué et homme travaillant, il a bâti une vie remplie de souvenirs précieux, de rires partagés et de moments simples qui resteront pour toujours dans nos cœurs. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Diane Quesnel et ses enfants Alexandre, Michaël (Cassandra) et Jonathan (Julie); ses petits- enfants Jaxon, Annabelle, Alexis et Florence qu’il aimait profondément, ses frères et sa sœur ainsi que tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de croiser son chemin. Sa bonté et sa force continueront de vivre à travers ceux qu’il a aimés. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 3 octobre à 10 h 30, en la Paroisse Sainte- Euphémie, 718, rue Principale, à Casselman. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 9 h. Après la célébration, la famille invite les amis et les proches à une célébration de vie, en son honneur, qui aura lieu au terrain familial sous un chapiteau, au 547, route 600 E, à Casselman.
