Disruptive Technology for Polyester Recycling The all new MRSjump from Gneuss sets a new benchmark for polyester recycling processes Based on a single degassing extruder, decontamination and IV build-up can be achieved within seconds. Further polycondensation units are no longer necessary for most applications. Particularly for PET waste which was difficult to recycle in the past due to lower IV levels, such as thermoforming film waste and fiber waste. The new technology offers promising new possibilities. Furthermore, the classic Bottle-to-bottle recycling processes need to be reassessed.
