Government Taxes Paid (2013 to 2017) I n the past five years, the accumulation of taxes generated by Indian Gaming is significant. Since 2013 to 2017, the total contribution to the United States and State Treasuries was $73,174,571,150. During this time, Tribes have allocated $8,165,382,657 in revenue sharing agreements to state treasuries. As Indian gaming succeeds, so do states with these agreements in place.

Additionally, Indian Gaming provided $16,016,051,429 in payments to Social Security and Medicare programs through employer and employee contributions. This is of importance as States and the Nation continue to age, relying more heavily on the current working population to fund current benefits.
