Indian Gaming Revenue Sharing Fulfilling the legislative intent of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, Indian gaming directly transfer $13,101,386,610 in 2017, to their tribal governments for social programs and allocations to fund investment programs, such as economic development and land- buyback programs. These transfer payments to the tribe, and their overall contribution to the local, regional and national economy is similar in its magnitude, when compared to the goods and services purchased by the tribal gaming operations. As you can see below, these transfer payments and their spending in the economy has created 125,972 jobs, generated $7,884,663,663 in labor income and had an overall economic output of $15,711,450,064 throughout the nation.
