their camp which was a blast. They enjoyed growing in community, God, and themselves as they completed team and personal
challenges. Some bodyboarded and kayaked for the first time and reported a great sense
of achievement. They worked together as groups to build shelters, solve puzzles and destroy each other’s towers with sling shots. What a great time they had. This week we had our first Middle School assembly for the year. M17 put on a really engaging assembly with the theme of Harmony Week. There was a wonderful devotion that reminded us that we are all part of the body of Christ, and I challenged our students to ‘stand up and stand out’ for Christ. We had a Care Group Vs Care Group Kahoot and basketball match as well. It was a fun time. The year 9 students had their first challenge walk last week at Morialta. The day was a great success with students engaged in reflection of where they have come from and where they are going in adult life. We encourage each one of them to maturity in Christ and to take ownership of their actions and thoughts as they grow in to young man and women. Looking ahead the year 7 students will be on camp in Belair next week. This will be a fun and exciting program for this group of students and staff to grow and learn more about their place in community and God’s world.
