Our Explorer Tours take you off the beaten path to stunning, remote locations and are ideal for adventurers, who prefer more comfort at night in 3-star tented units, lodges or small hotels, without forsaking a true authentic African Experience. This tour is fully accommodated and all linen and towels are supplied. IMPORTANT INFORMATION • The touring price includes most meals as stipulated, coffee, tea, juice at breakfast, tented accommodation, 2 drifters guides, entrance fees, park fees and permits. • Not included in the touring price are beverages (such as alcohol, bottled water and soft drinks), gratuities, curios, visas and any optional extras/activities. • Most major currencies can be exchanged upon arrival at the main airports. Credit cards are generally accepted. Spending money will be required for restaurant meals, drinks, tips, curios and any other optional activities. • It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate visas required for your trip, for the countries we visit. Some nationalities might need to obtain visas before departure. • During winter the temperature can drop very low at night and during the summer months it can get very hot at midday. Suitable clothing is recommended, as well as a rain jacket, hat and sunscreen. • On these tours, there will be a certain amount of walking, and therefore a small daypack is advisable. • Before departure you will be required to enter into an agreement and indemnity pertaining to our booking conditions and general information. You are required to have your own comprehensive travel insurance. • Accommodation may vary from tour to tour, depending on availability, but Drifters will always offer the same standard on each tour. • Some days may cover considerable distances. • Seasonal malaria precautions are advisable, specifically for Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. • Children: South Africa, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania - No under 12 years Namibia, 5 Day Kruger National Park - Recommended age of 7 years upwards
