Drifters offer private camping safari tours through the stunning National Parks of Botswana and other areas of interest, tailored for small groups of 2 to 12 guests. These safaris are perfect for those who prefer not to join our scheduled adventure tours listed in the brochure. The Botswana Private Safaris are completely flexible and custom-quoted based on how many guests are travelling and how many days you have to explore. These tours are ideal for couples, friends, or extended families who want to set their own pace and experience the renowned parks of Botswana on their own terms. Tours depart from the base at the Drifters Maun Lodge in custom-built, fully equipped Land Cruisers, driven by a fully qualified private guide. Unlike our scheduled group tours, these private safaris are non-participation, meaning you can fully relax while we take care of everything. It’s a significant upgrade in camping comfort, and we’re here to make sure your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

The Drifters Maun Lodge is where your adventure begins. From here, Drifters aims to showcase the breath-taking wilderness that surrounds us. The lodge is also open to self-drive visitors, and for those who are feeling more adventurous, we have excellent camping facilities available. You’ll find the Drifters Maun Lodge conveniently located on the A3 Maun-Nata road, just 30km east of Maun.
